I work with individuals, decision makers, team leaders and managers from different sectors.

How do I get started?

Book your free introductory call, or send me a message. Together, we will discuss if and how we can work together.

How can I prepare for a session?

There is no need for any special preparation on your part. We work with what is meaningful and present to you at the moment. Feel free to think about your goal or a topic you want to work on.

How many sessions do I need to see results?

Often, 2-3 sessions are enough to see results. Some processes take a little longer. This depends entirely on you and your topic. However, you do not have to commit to a certain number of sessions.

What confidentiality measures apply to our conversations?

Of course, all information and conversations that take place during our sessions are treated as strictly confidential.

If there is acute risk of harm for oneself or others, an emergency service, or the police must be notified.

Are there any instances where you can’t help?

First of all, the chemistry between us should be right. You can find out whether that is the case in a free initial 20 min. consultation.

My offer is aimed at people who are healthy but facing professional or personal challenges. As soon as I notice that my area of competence has been exceeded, I am happy to put you in touch with the appropriate colleagues in my network.

Is your consultation covered by health insurance?

If you are insured with SVS, you can submit your Somanima receipt there and claim your Gesundheitshunderter.

What happens if I have to cancel an appointment?

Of course, this can happen. Cancellations are free of charge up to 24h before the appointment, after that, the full amount will be charged.

What is a sparring partner?

The term sparring comes from sports and is used to improve the trainee’s skills. Sparring partners in business combine consultants’ expertise and knowledge about methodology with the techniques of coaches.

What is resilience?

Resilience means to bounce back. According to the Oxford Dictionary, it is the ability to survive difficult situations without lasting impairment and to use them as an occasion for development.

What are somatic practices?

A variety of body-oriented techniques aimed at improving awareness of one’s own body and using the body as a tool for growth, and personal development. The term somatic is derived from the Greek word soma, meaning body.

Somatic practices, such as yoga, TRE®, or body scan meditation, can help reduce stress, increase body awareness, change behavior patterns, and promote overall well-being.

What is polyvagal theory?

Polyvagal theory is concerned with the functioning of the autonomic nervous system and how it responds to social interaction, stress and threat. The autonomic nervous system is the part of the nervous system that automatically and unconsciously regulates vital functions such as heart rate, breathing, digestion and hormone production.

What is TRE® (Tension, Stress & Trauma Releasing Exercises)?

TRE® is a bodywork method developed by Dr David Berceli. It aims to release stress and traumatic experiences from the body. TRE® uses simple physical exercises to elicit reflexive muscle contractions. Read more here.

How should I imagine a TRE® session?

During a TRE® session I guide you through 7 simple exercises – by demonstrating, by verbal cuing, and without touch. This activates movement or a slight tremor. It is not a workout. The session offers a way to release accumulated stress, anxiety and trauma from the body and restores a sense of balance and well-being. In the beginning, it is strongly recommended to have a few sessions with a certified person. A session lasts 60-75 minutes. It takes place in an individual setting or in small groups (max. 8 people). At Somanima, you can learn how to do the exercises safely and how to self-regulate the intensity and your nervous system. Once that is accomplished, TRE® can become part of your personal toolbox and you can use the technique anywhere and anytime on your own.
