About me
Empathy, diplomacy, and a strongly developed sense of justice, that’s what drives me.
In a gallery in Amsterdam, I discovered anatomical drawings that beautifully illustrate my attitude towards interactions with others: If we act thoughtfully, with curiosity, with open hands, and with an open heart, we can achieve a lot.
From an early age, I wanted to establish connections between people through mediation and translation. I am particularly interested in why people behave the way they do.
My international business studies combined with a basic education in psychology provided the theoretical framework for my position as an HR manager in an international corporation.
However, the practice was much more fascinating. I had the opportunity to accompany people and put them at the center through targeted support and appreciation. When my colleagues said, “Marlies, you are always the connecting element,” I understood why they sought my advice in small and large conflicts.
The trust bestowed upon me meant even more to me than the “Manager of the Year Award”.
But, more importantly, I knew: “This is what I want to do. Accompany people and help them find new strength and clarity. Support them in going through life with ease and joy without losing their grounding.”
Alongside my interest in personal development, I became fascinated with our anatomy and how our nervous system functions. In my yoga teacher training, it became even clearer to me what an enormous intelligence our body possesses. However, due to the hectic pace of modern life, we have forgotten to listen to its signals.
Physicist A.H. Almaas describes, “In the meeting of mind and body, the alchemy takes place that transforms our limitations into gateways to growth.”
Using techniques and methods from the fields of nervous system regulation, stress, and trauma research, I will teach you how to easily access your resources in the future.
If you want to tackle problems at their root to solve them in the long term instead of fighting symptoms, you have come to the right place. For this, a holistic approach that encompasses both mind and body is essential.
My clients and I stand on equal footing. I am convinced that you already carry your solution within yourself. I am happy to assist you in achieving your goal. With a strong intuition and professionalism in dealing with people, I quickly grasp the essentials. Empathetic, warm-hearted, and discreet, I stay with you when things get tough.
My clients give me their trust. I give them my full presence and attention.
